Re-imagining our Democracy for the 21st Century

My story begins with a dream, just like my great-grandparents arriving through Ellis Island, my grandfather fighting in the Navy during World War II, and my Dad serving in the National Guard.
For me, it was the dreams of a 90's gay kid fighting to find his place, and eventually, the dream of building a life here in Los Angeles.
But today, for too many of us, our dreams feel damn near impossible.
For twenty years, my job as a small business owner has been solving complex problems—walking into broken situations, finding the heart of the issue, and fixing it.
When I look at Washington, I see another broken situation that needs fixing. An ineffective Congress. A lack of courage. Power sits with the rich and the few. I see small steps to keep seats rather than bold moves to change lives.
The hard truth is the Democratic establishment has presided over the largest loss of power in a generation. They have lost the White House, the House, the Senate, and the Supreme Court for a generation and we have to look in the mirror to ask ourselves why.
We cannot solve 2026 problems with a 1990s playbook. The world has changed and so too must we. It’s time to re-imagine the Democratic Party with a new generation of leaders who understand this moment.

I’m running for Congress to move the Democratic Party forward as:
Fighters who have the backbone to lower the costs of groceries and housing.
Warriors who don’t just talk about democracy but defend it with every lever of power.
Dreamers who believe that a better 21st century is possible if we just have the guts to build it.
I’m not running for likes, crypto donations, grandstanding, or a spot on cable news. I'm not a career politician hiding from voters.
I'm running for Congress because we need a new generation of leaders to reimagine the Democratic party and our democracy for the 21st century in order to build a new American Dream. We must get things done now to make our lives cheaper, our street safer, and our democracy stronger. I have plans for all of these things. Government is as good as the people we send to it, so let’s start sending better people.
I believe change is possible when we do the work. I believe our best days are ahead. Let the dreaming begin!
No career politician baggage. No big money from corporations and PACs. Just a singular focus on getting things done for voters pursuing the American Dream.
